NUGS ISSUES ULTIMATUM TO THE STUDENTS LOAN TRUST FUND.

We bring to your notice, once more the delay in the loans. We have time and again requested your office to explain to us the reasons for the delay.

Schools have reopened for more than a month now and as off now, loans though skimpy have not come in now.

This we find to be a blatant disregard and insensitivity to the plight of the poor Ghanaian student whose only source of hope is the loan.

All reasons given do not any way portray the reality on the ground. Our checks at the various sectors relevant to your outfit have proven that you have no reason whatsoever for the delay.

We members of the National Union of Ghana Students want to indicate to your outfit that, you have up to Friday 26, 2010 to make real your obligation to the students of Ghana.

We will advise ourselves should your outfit fail to deliver the reasons for which you were appointed to serve the interest of the Ghanaian student.
